EQNX Gaming is proud to welcome Min Hyung “Eyemusician” Park to our professional TEKKEN 7 roster. Eyemusician is most recognizable as one of the best Yoshimitsu players in the world. However, there’s much more to him than meets the eye.
Known for an entertaining playstyle coupled by a unorthodox character choice, Eyemusician has become a fan favorite amongst Fighting Game enthusiasts.
"Eyemusician is a one-of-a-kind player that will bring a lot to our growing roster," said team owner Emily Tran. "Aside from natural talent, he has a lot of passion for the game and brings crazy amounts of excitement to TEKKEN. It's hard to keep your eyes off him when he's playing and I can't wait to see what he accomplishes while representing EQNX."
“Some of my fans might think I'm a very exuberant, funny and little crazy person because my playstyle is like that," said Eyemusician, "But actually, I'm not. The players who actually meet me said that I was completely different from what they thought. They thought I must be a crazy guy.”
Eyemusician began playing TEKKEN at five years old, starting with TEKKEN 4 on the PlayStation 2. The game and console were given to him by his father, which sparked his interest in fighting games. Eyemusican chose the character Yoshimitsu due to his unique moveset.
“I thought he is the most unique and enjoyable character. He has so many cool and funny movements. So I decided to main him,” Eyemusician said.
Yoshimitsu is TEKKEN's primary "rule breaker" character with a collection of unusual abilities, ranging from health siphoning to teleportation. His fighting style "incorporates a blend of ninjutsu, sword attacks from kenjutsu, and special stances from kabuki dance," according to official lore.

Ten years after, Eyemusician decided to make TEKKEN his main game after playing TEKKEN 6 for the first time at the arcade. He also played TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2 with the team Yoshimitsu and Alisa.
It was not until TEKKEN 7 when Eyemusician became more recognized outside of the Korean scene. In 2019, some of his most notable appearances included FV Cup (9th), REV Major (7th), and the TWT Last Chance Qualifier in Bangkok, Thailand (4th).
At REV Major 2019, Eyemusician pulled together a dominating performance taking down PBE | AK twice as well as getting wins against double and (now teammate) EQNX | Ulsan. The 2019 TWT Last Chance Qualifier is where Eyemusician performed his best internationally. He started the tournament off strong with early wins over PBE | Doujin and EQNX | Jyotaro. His loser’s bracket run included tough wins over Heera Malik, GG | Atif Butt, and KAGEMARU before being eliminated by AK.
I finished 4th in LCQ. This was my first time reaching top 4, and i can't still believe it. I'm so happy I could do much like this in my last 2019 tournament. Thank you for everyone cheering me up, and i'll also do my best next year. pic.twitter.com/OEc2xehq9v— EyeMusician (@eyemusician_TK) December 7, 2019
Outside of gaming, Eyemusician studied Tourism in college before taking a leave of absence to pursue pro gaming. Eyemusician hopes to continue entertaining fans by winning tournaments and inspiring gamers to use Yoshimitsu. His first competition under the EQNX banner will be AfreecaTV TEKKEN League Season 2 on August 12.
Please help us welcome Eyemusician to the EQNX family.
